Taproom Only/Experimental Brews

Creativity is at the heart of everything we do at HopFusion Ale Works. We are excited by innovation and art, and we decided to fuse those concepts into our brewery.

One way we do that is by continuing to push the envelope on creative, exciting brews. We have two brew-systems at HopFusion:

1) Our 15BBL main production brew-house for annual and seasonal releases for distribution inside and outside of our brewery.

2) Our experimental system is a custom designed and built 2BBL brew-house with it's own suite of fermentors used exclusively for taproom only/experimental brews. All of our seasonal releases outside of the brewery started right here in the taproom on our experimental system and sampled first only in our taproom.

These brews rotate through the taproom as available with new ones being added constantly.

Zombie Crack

Pecan Bourbon Barrel Stout | 10% ABV | 34 IBU

Our Imperial Milk Stout - Fur Slipper, aged on
bourbon oak and honey roasted pecans.

Even Trade - Mosaic

Continuous Hopped Mosaic IPA | 7% ABV | 70 IBU

Continuously hopped throughout the brewing process with Mosaic hops for a full-bodied American IPA.

Amped Fusion

Imperial Coffee Stout | 8.63% ABV | 34 IBU

Combining cold brew coffee (small batch, roasted and brewed right here in the southside) with our Imperial Milk Stout. In our opinion, the perfect roasted infusion.

Even Trade - Equinox

Continuous Hopped Equinox IPA | 7% ABV | 70 IBU

Continuously hopped throughout the brewing process with Equinox hops for a full-bodied American IPA.

Orange Blossom Special

Witbier | 5.6% ABV | 12 IBU

Using the same honey as our Feisty Blonde, this witbier combines traditional notes and with fresh fruit, orange zest and honey.

Bailiwick

English IPA | 6.2% ABV | 51 IBU

First brewed in England and exported for the British troops in India during the late 1700s. More malt forward when compared to its American IPA cousin.

Aheuvo

Double India Pale Ale | 10.33% ABV | 104 IBU

Deep amber malt backbone packing a double slam of hops throughout the process. The result is Ahuevo - superbly balanced, complex and boozy.

Fingal

Dry Irish Stout | 4,5% ABV | 42 IBU

Named for the Viking Settlement north of Dublin, this traditional dry Irish Stout boasts a light-ish body to keep it on a highly drinkable side while offering deep roasted notes from the black barley grain bill.

Les Fauves

Saison/Farmhouse Ale | 5.54% ABV | 31 IBU

Like the artists who inspired the 20th century movement, les fauves takes a saison in a new direction. Spicy ginger notes with the tart, herbal qualities and deep color of the hibiscus flower.

Feisty Redhead

Honey Vanilla Blonde on Hibiscus | 8.27% ABV | 17 IBU

We took our popular Feisty Blonde (honey/vanilla blonde) and aged it on hibiscus and cherries for a new twist on the original - Feisty Redhead. We all know and love at least one.

Coco Añejo

Coconut Milk Stout | 8.63% ABV | 34 IBU

Our Imperial Milk Stout (Fur Slipper) aged on deep roasted coconut.

Even Trade - Sorachi Ace

Continuous Hopped Sorachi Ace IPA | 7% ABV | 70 IBU

Continuously hopped throughout the brewing process with Sorachi Ace hops for a full-bodied American IPA.

Sprockets

German Altbier| 4.9% ABV | 30 IBU

Traditionally brewed. Dating back to the 1600's, a German style brown ale, the “alt” literally translates to "old" in German, and traditionally Altbiers are conditioned for a longer than normal periods of time.
